CPU usage and overclocking

If nothing I run maxes any of my CPUs cores will I see any benifit from an overclock? As it seems my CPU still has untaped potential left.

Er. Yes. If your CPU is overclocked by, say, 20% - then it will run everything 20% faster regardless of the CPU load.
