I might be being proper silly the now, but i need the answer to this question.
I have a c2d e6600 at 3.3Ghz, i have speedstep, that halt option and all power saving off... so i know its always at the same speed and voltage (would say what voltage, but cpuz and coretemp are giving different readings
).
My question is... since all values are static, if i was to fold 24/7 on the cpu it would make no difference to power consumption?
Well except the added temp
lol
Im i correct? I feel i am, but just wanna know!
Thanks!
