Hi all so im running a I7-7700K on a Asrock z270 pro4 MB with 16gb Ram & a EVGA GTX 1060 6gb running off a Corsair RM850X PSU. Im running a OC of 4.8GHz with a fixed voltage of 1.38v on the CPU with XMP on running at 3200MHz at 1.40v. My question is my CPU voltage is running at just under the 1.38v when idle but when running any sort of stress test (Cinebench R23,Linpack Xtreme,OCCT.ect) The Vcore drops down to 1.328v under 100% load it does pass all of the tests without any problems running at 83c what is the highest temperature it gets to but why is the Vcore dropping like it is with the 100% load. Should i be running a offset voltage in the Bios instead of the fixed voltage if so can someone tell what i should be putting down as a offset voltage as i don't understand about the offset voltage option. I have uploaded a screenshots of both idle & running a stress test.
Thanks in advance Steve
