Hello,

I've been overclocking my E6750 it runs at 3.2GHz fine, no problems at all.. Stable 10 hours Orthos.

However, when i try to go for 3.3Ghz i get bluescreens when doing stress tests and other various things, i know this is because i need to up the voltage, but when i up it in the BIOS it makes no diffrence, atm i've got the voltage at 1.40, when i run Orthos and check CPU-Z it still shows 1.3 load, same with coretemp & everset.. am i getting massive Vdroop/drop or something?

Speedstep is off.

Thanks. :)

Some more Info:

CPU: C2D E6750
Mobo: Asus P5K
Ram: 2GB OCZ 6400 (1:1)

skippi90: No i didn't disable that, Just speedstep atm.. will turn it off.

Thanks.

Well i turned off C1E and yes it did help, it lasted about 5 minutes longer before the BSOD.

Now it's showing 1.360 idle, and about 1.312 load.

How much voltage can be put through these C2D chips?

Atm the highest i've seen my CPU temps go are 50°C.. using a Thermaltake IFX.
