cpu voltages

I'm just about to foray into my 1st overclocking venture for many a year and need a little help in terminology please. What is the difference between processor voltage and vcore? The mobo will be an Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe and the cpu will be an opty 146.

yeah they the same.

stock 1.35 i think, general max of 1.55 on air and 1.65 on water

cheers, after doing a little more reading I think that the option that confused me was the vcore overvolt option which I take to mean that it gives you the chance to increase the vcore, yes?

vcore overvolt will add extra voltage to whatever the vcore is set at, say you set the vcore at 1.5, then you could overvolt that value by 0.05 to give you 1.55
