cpu water cooler

Really simple question... My Asus z97k only has a CPU fan port and 2 fan ports... I've got my water cooler plugged into the CPU fan port and the fans for the radiator in one of the others... Is this correct? Do I need to change anything in my bios?

Any help would be appreciated

Take it its an aio cooler

If so put the pump plug into a mobo port and set it to 100% permnantly and put the fan onto the cpu header.

OK so swap them around pretty much but set the water pump to 100%... OK cool will do that now to be on safe side!

Yeh u always want as much water flowing around as possible. Fans just crank up if needed then

Except water flow rate doesn't make a huge difference to component temps and excessive speed can cause excess noise and dump more heat into the loop.

The aio pumps dont go that fast even at full load and make no noise at all.
