Hi
I am thinking of upgrading my 1366 board and currently have a EK Supreme CPU Block fitted. Does anyone know if I will have to change this, if I were to upgrade to an i7 2600k board?

If not, is there any other bits I might need to modify it or dioes it simply fit the new socket?

As far as I can see, the only thing in the empty box is an extra rubber fitting

Cheers

Do you mean the supreme (various holes on the top plate)
or the supreme HF (with four diagonal slots on the top plate)

The supreme will need the s775 holes redrilled into slots.
The supreme HF will fit without issue

Correction - just read the install guide:

Looks to me like the back plate is fairly universal looking at the Steps 3b and 3c. So long as the top fitting fits, then I don;t see why you'd have a problem. With the Swiftech Apogee XT, one top fits all, the backing plate however is different for 1366/1155/6.

You should be ok as far as I can tell
