There seems to be quite an array of fairly affordable CPU water coolers on the market at the moment.

For instance there is the Antec Kuhler at £49.99

or the Corsair Hydro H50-1 at £51.98

The CoolIT Eco at £57.18

and slowly moving towards the pricier end such as the Corsair Hydro H70 at £79.99

Can we expect even more of these soon? And are the soon to be the standar CPU cooler in most rigs? Do they really perform better than any heatsink/fan combo?

And what I really want to know is, what are peoples experiences with these? And what sort of rigs do you recommend really require one?

Or do you perhaps think £50 is too much for a complete watercooling kit?

I read some of the reviews for each, they were very insightful, put the idea of getting one in my mind now. :)

I've seen some Air coolers cheaper than the H50, plus they perform better. I've read the review for the Antec Kuhler, they seem positive... run 7C cooler than the H50.

Oh right, was just on the ocuk homepage and saw pre order on the kuhler was available, they seem like a nice option if you dont want to air cool your cpu.

Had a H70 originally when I bought a 2600k. Sent it back though due to me ending up with a gurgling one. Was going to get a replacement until I noticed someone else round here had 3 in a row with the same defect.

Replaced it with a D14. From my own observations, they were pretty much identical at idle, though the H70 was probably 5C cooler at load under OCCT (though I'm only running the D14 fans at the low RPM setting). The D14 is a lot easier to fit as well. Shame OC are a bit pricey with them though.

That's the only H70 vs Noc that I have seen where the H70 doesn't win!
Just got a H70. Happy at 4.3 with 30degC and 45degC load
I would recommend a H70

Been happy enough with my H50 since I got it last year. :) The Antec one certainly looks promising from the early results though and it's the one I'd pick if I was buying one now.
