CPU-Z 1.74 has a Benchmark thingy......




FX-9590 @ 4.7Ghz (Boost off)

This i found interesting when playing with it, many think Vishera is just a clocked revision of Bulldozer, I have never been convinced of that and...




Yeah. with a 1.1Ghz higher clock (+30%) its 70% faster, if it has the same IPC then those numbers don't add up, not by a very long way....

according a the reference tab:

a ref 5960x scores 1491/12156
and a ref 6700k scores 2084/8786

5960X @ 3.5Ghz: = 1491 - Single Thread
5820K @ 4.5Ghz: (+29%) = 1970 (+32%) - Single Thread

Seems about right.

Since version 1.78.3.x64, CPU-Z dropped the normal benchmarking code version 15 or something in order to make the AMD Ryzen CPUs look worse compared to Intel that lost its advantage once Ryzen was launched in 2017.

Since then, CPU-Z hasn't been the same, as the current latest version dates back from May this year and lacks information in its database of any Ryzen 5000 series CPU.

My AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core 24-thread is doing:
9890 in Multi-threaded test and 654 in Single-threaded test
Multi Thread Ratio is 15.09.
