CPU-Z not showing overclock

Newbie to OC'ing here. I have:

GA-965-9-DS4 mobo F12 (latest BIOS)
E6600
2 x Geil PC6400 1GB
2 x Geil PC5300 1GB (according to CPU-Z - I thought I had 4 x PC6400!)
Vista x64

I have disabled EIST and CIE. My OC is showing in BIOS as 3.00 GHz but in CPU-Z it is still showing stock at 2400 MHz with no raise in temps. Multiplier is x9, FSB is 333 and divider is 2.0. Timings are 5-5-5-15.

What am I doing wrong? :confused:

no it stays still under orthos blend test :confused:

and in cpu-z Ram is showing as 266 Mhz?

flashed a while ago. I've reset cmos by loading optimised. I exited bios by "save and exit" ... I'm really stumped on this; it's got to be something simple I'm missing.

It says it's at 1:1 already (in BIOS there's only Auto, 2.0 ...)

Thanks mate, that worked. All 4 Ram back in and working now at 3000Mhz.

My beers must have been stronger than yours
