Got an E6850 fitted to a P5K Premium, BIOS all at default currently, BIOS reading 9 multiplier giving 3GHz speed.

However, both CPU-Z (v. 1.40.5) and the Asus AI suite read the chip with a 6.0 multiplier at just over 2GHz.

Are these wrong or is the chip throttling down?

Ah, cheers for that, was thinking it was one of the Asus tools underclocking since, according to the manual, speed step is disabled by default. Just checked the BIOS and it's enabled.

Will leave it like that for now... don't need 3GHz to browse the net really... :D

In addition to this, CPU-Z reports a 5:6 memory divider - how do I get it to 1:1. I have 4 x 1GB OCZ Platinum sticks. Have set them manually in the BIOS to 800MHz and also set them to 4 4 4 12 which seems to be fine - haven't changed any voltages.
