Hi,

just put CPU-Z on my machine to check out the CPU and i noticed that it is giving different information about my memory to what i had supposedly purchased.

how accurate is it when it comes to identifying you components?

if you are talking about the timings, you may need to manually input the correct timings in the bios, if its the frequency, you may be underclocking the ram currently

well i bought the OCZ REAPER X HPC that are supposedly 1000 and they are supposed to be 5 5 5 18.

but CPU-Z in memory is saying 533 with FSB 1:2 and 5 7 7 20, SPD is saying they are 6400's (400 MHz) at 5 5 5 15

which of these two is the correct information so i know what i am then looking at as a shortfall?

The memory tab is what it's actually running at, you'll need to manually adjust the timings in the BIOS, making sure you set the right voltage as well.
