im mo techy and the e6300 rocks in my book its the first duo core iva had always been a amd man.

my e6300 currently sits at 3.1ghz no special software needed to overclock just do most of it from your bois.

the only special proggies you will need or is good to have are stuff like orthos which is a strees testing proggie to make sure you overclock is pretty stable.
tat which is the thermal anylais program from intel which monitors temps for you.

and speed fan i think its called which also monitors temps and volts i think.

just have a read of the forums and post question once you get your gear set up im sure they will help you out they have with and nearly everyone else on ere.

good luck
