Hi,

I am having issues with my pc displaying anything. When i opened the cover and looked at my motherboard there was a red light for the cpu.

My graphics card fan was not rotating, so i am wondering the issue may lie in the power connecting to the cpu power or the actual CPU? Is there a way to tell?

Motherboard: ASUS RAMPAGE 3 EXTREAME
POWER SUPPLY: CORSAIR 850W

Any help would be much appreciated to identify the issue.

Rgds,

Hi,

The mother board has two seperate 4 pin cpu power pins, the power supply has two 4 pin connections i have tried to plug in different combinations but still has not resolved the issue.

Rgds,

I havent messed around with anything, however i had some issues around 2months ago when this happend, but i just replugged the power to the 4pin cpu connector and everything was fine. It was a random event.

How will resetting the bios cure the issue?
