I have bought a Seidon 120M water cooler and a Gigabyte UD4H board.

The issue is I dont know which sockets the pump and the exhaust fan should be connected to! theres two sockets below the processor socket called CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT.

Currently the fan is in CPU_FAN and the pump in CPU_OPT. Idles at 28C which doesn't seem that great really?

I'd personally swap them over and see if it improves or gets worse. Those temps seem pretty good though. What CPU have you got?

Should work on either header tbh. Opt cpu fan connectors are the same as the cpu one. Theyre a recent addition to mobos due to the rise in popularity of dual fan heatsinks.

WC isn't about idle temps really - it's about keeping things cool under heavy load. Try some games/benchmarks and see what your max temps are.

As for 28c idle - doesn't seem bad but what chip do you have?

The cpu_opt fan header runs the full 12v regardless, you want to connect the pump header to this.

Connect the CPU fan to the other one so you can set fan profiles for it
