I'll probably be updating my rig again within the year, what CPU's are next on the list, I haven't kept up to date with these at all since buying my 3770k.
Isn't haswell-e coming out later this year?
fancy an 8 core Suarez?![]()
This is the only interesting thing coming out, but its going to be a niche buy and probably make no difference to most gaming rigs.
I am looking forward to Kaapstag benching one with whatever 4 card setup is available at the time![]()

Sounds interesting, the -e chips use quad channel RAM as well don't they? I know it doesn't make much difference but it sounds better![]()
So kind of on topic if there is nothing exciting coming up then it's it worth going from my 4.6 3750k to a 3770k? I'm running r290's in crossfire. I'd held off for a big upgrade but since that involves new mobo cooler etc then I might as well just grab a 3770k
broadwell will be meh,but skylake should be decent
