I'll probably be updating my rig again within the year, what CPU's are next on the list, I haven't kept up to date with these at all since buying my 3770k.

As said above the 3770k is still a beast of a gaming CPU, no reason to think about upgrading really. :)

4.6ghz is a good OC too. :)
 
So kind of on topic if there is nothing exciting coming up then it's it worth going from my 4.6 3750k to a 3770k? I'm running r290's in crossfire. I'd held off for a big upgrade but since that involves new mobo cooler etc then I might as well just grab a 3770k

A 3770k would help in a few games, bf3/4, and crysis 3 being ones i know from making the same move.
 
broadwell will be meh,but skylake should be decent

I'm waiting to see what Skylake will offer, it's going to be more of an energy saving processor I believe so my hopes aren't too great.

Any news on when we are likely to see it in 2015?
