CPUZ Benchmark (all welcome)

I'm not gonna make a habit of constantly tweaking and resubmitting scores but after reading Jay343434's post on setting a per ccx overclock, I wondered why didn't I think of doing that. I already knew I was limited to 4600 at 1.4v (and 4550 at 1.35v) All cores but setting ccx0 to 4700 (leaving ccx1 at 4600) I got the boost I was looking for.

5950X using DynamicOC so my PBO settings look after the single core boost with -25 Curve all core +50 Boost.

Single core 709.0
Multicore = 13679.0

Yeah the per ccx overclock is beneficial. When you do an all core general overclock you’re always limited by your weakest ccx.

I’m sure mine has a bit more mileage in there but I need to do more tweaking. I think I could maybe get a 4750mhz and 4600mhz which would bump my score up.

I'm probably in unsafe territory as it is with 1.4v but I may back that down to 1.35 with a lower ccx1 and see where ccx0 takes me. I cant use any LLC levels as that just makes things unstable causing blackouts as well as extra heat so I leave that on Auto.

What sort of cooling do you have? I’m only using a Noctua D15 as I’m paranoid about leaks so I’m massively restricted by temps.

Also I noticed you got 709 in single core, what are your cores boosting too?

you don’t have a screenshot of hwinfo showing your max boost clocks by any chance?

I can’t get past 690ish

I don't have hwinfo. I'm using a corsair 280 Aio. A score of 700 is normal for me without pbo. (Note for best scores, no monitoring software should be running at all). Ryzen master will show hitting 5050. I can hit 5100 with a -30 pbo curve, but the result is usually a blackout when clocks return to idle after a test.

That is amazing single core performance.

And that was literally no changes in bios aside from f max disabled?

Do you remember what bios that was?

I’ll have to try but I don’t even think my multi score was that high at stock settings!

All on bios 3801. Well, apart from hand entered memory timings (for 3600 C14), there are no other bios changes that should affect cpu performance in the stock run (apart from fmax off).

I find it interesting that you get 700 without pbo.

Is that without curve optimiser too?

I get about 660 at stock. I don't think my cpu is a great example though.

I too get a higher score in single without OCs set but for me my multicore is not so good, using PBO and curve is the best balance where I get good single core and multicore but I have not spent the time for per core CCX, once day I might as my chip seems decent.

how high was your single core score at stock?
