CPUz SPD wrong info?

CPUz SPD stating wrong info?

CPUz states that my max memory bandwidth is PC2-6400 (400MHz) tho I have 2gb Corsair Dominator Twin2X2048-8500C5D (1066MHz). Is this right?

Based on your screen shots, your only running your ram at pc2-6400 speeds, well just below actually... Perhaps thats why it says it your max, try running your ram closer to it designed speed and see what it shows in cpu-z.

If I run my ram closer to its speed, that will change the ratio. Will that matter much?

EDIT: Have tried that. Have taken ram freq to 1016mhz just short of stock and it's still showin up as pc2-6400

Most 8500 RAM is exactly the same chips as the 6400 stuff just speed binned depending on their capabilities - the higher quality stuff becomes 8500 parts... for several reasons including compatibility the SPD is programmed with 6400.
