Yup, has been on Major Nelson for a few days now.

I'm with McDaniel. This game should rock on it's own right. Only the foolish are buying it solely for the Halo 3 Beta.

But yeah, I have this game preordered on its own merits - the gameplay trailers look incredible.

That the way I'm looking at it.

I cant wait for Halo3 so I'm dead excited about the beta test. If crackdown turns out to be a great game I probably won't know for a few months. But at least it will be a "free game"
 
Cool, looking forward to playing the demo. If its any good then i'll preorder the full game. From the videos and stuff it looks like a lot of fun, but i always like to try before i buy, if i can.

Seen it confirmed on another site, and also on the Crackdown forums. Gone gold today too.
 
Went gold a few days ago :)

Excited about this, trust it to come up when im at work - so wont have it till the evening, was off when it was due out though - lol.

Krono - it doesnt open the Beta straight away does it? i thought the beta is due in Summer?

woot, when you say tomorrow. Do you mean like 12 tonight or sometime tomorrow. Damn means I need to get live subs, might just get a month as totally skint!

Demo is now available to download and weighs in at 1.24 Gb!! :eek:
