If you've got the console modded, Why are you buying and renting?

Is it to show some sort of loyalty to developers?

If a game deserves to be bought then ill buy it, i have loved Vegas so i paid for the game, it deserved its money.

My rental side is pure lazyness from not cancelling it, but meh

I'll be buying Crackdown but won't be touching the Halo Beta.

Played the first Halo and wasn't impressed at all. Has nothing on Goldeneye, Perfect Dark or PC FPS IMO.

I must admit it is a good marketing ploy though to sell more copies of Crackdown but fortunately it is a good game in its own right.

Please don't take this as a personal attack just on that mindset about copying games:

Isn't that demos are for!? If you don't think you'll like a game then don't buy (or copy it). Only rewarding the good games by buying it might be fine in theory but I bet the reality is somewhat different once you've copied and played a game all the way through.

Demo's dont often reflect what the actual game is like.

Im no saint, i do it to save cash - im simply saying if i play a game so much i will pay for it.

In the same reality if i download a film or an album and i really enjoy it i will likely buy it, if i watch it and its poop then i wont.

Hated rainbow six SP demo. Loved the full game. Imo they demo'd the wrong level at the wrong stage.

Once I started the game and ran through from the start, one of the best games i've ever played. Hated the hitman demo, loved the game. Dont really trust demo's anymore.
