Wonder if anyone can shed any light on this,

Iv got kahn 17" alloys, and due to the low profile tyres and an unfortunate meeting with a pothole, i was left with the inner of the alloy being bent and causing a loss in air.

Now iv had this before, and using a soft mallet i managed to bend it back into shape, this time around though, the alloy cracked on the sidewall. :(

Are these repairable? if not i guess im left with 3 alloys that are no use to anyone :(.

I don't think they are repairable if cracked. Personally even it it were repaired, it would always be in the back of my mind that it wasn't right.

You may be able to get 1 alloy if you look around a bit, what car is it for & what does it look like?

Your best bet is to look in the yellow pages for a local alloy wheel repairer and see what they say about fixing it.

If it is not fixable then you may be able to buy another one form somewhere, if they are still for sale you will be able to buy a single wheel. There is always that popular auction site ;)

Kahn rs-r's in 17" for a peugeot 306.

Looked on that auction site, 1 for sale but wont fit :(

Depending on the amount of damage, cracked alloys can be repaired but it's not a particularly cheap process, and you have to ask yourself if you are happy driving around on a repaired alloy.

Straighteneing out bent steel rims yourself is fine, doing it on alloys is not a good idea IMO. Aluminium alloy tends to work harden very easily, so bending back a rim without anealing the metal is inviting cracks to form, which won't necessarily be visible.
