Cracked it

Why do stupid things make life difficult.

Been having startup problems - Black screen with "Starting Windows" -four coloured balls swirling round screen then make up Windows logo - and screen froze - worked out that hitting space bar made it carry on to load.

Been trying loads of things over last few weeks and in end uninstalled mouse and keyboard - restarted and Bingo - Everything is fine. Grrrrrrrrr .

Is it built into Windows 7 to pee us off.

Glad you got it fixed. Sometimes, it can also be due to running in IDE instead of ACHI. That's what I've found, anyway.

I never knew about the space bar thing. I'll remember that for future reference.
