cracked plastic

The plastic casing around the keyboard on my Macbook has just cracked on the bottom left corner. I've also still got the discolouring issue.

I won't have time or the spare cash to pop into the apple store this week so I thought I'd ask on here. Has anyone had this problem corrected before? What kinda price am I looking at? A mate reckons it'll be up to £100 to get the plastic cover replaced.

I've had it since the week they came out so my warranty obviously expired long ago.

From what I remember the parts on the invoice said £64 + labour. So about £100 - £125 if they were to charge.

No way am I paying that for a piece of covering, not at the moment anyway. The crack isn't that bad and the discolouring I can live with. I'll take it to them when I get the chance, see what they say. Won't be paying that price in a hurry though.
