I was in an accident that managed to tear off my right hand pedal and b*gger the crank arm thread in the process. I've replaced a L/H arm before but the R/H is a bit of a problem. With the L/H it's a very simple process of is it a square taper or an octalink etc.

Does anyone know how I could track down a replacement R/H arm as it has to have the correct number of arms of the correct length to fit into the crank - or am I better off just getting a whole new crank + chain set?

I think that you have to get a whole new crank arm and chainset, they are usually sold as a complete unit are they not?
