Crankcase Filter??

Don't they just fit on the end of the Crankcase breather and stop unwanted particles entering your engine? Pressure is relieved from the crankcase as well as air being inducted.

Not much, just look bling and fitting one means altering the PCV system meaning you oil gets dirty sooner and crankcase pressures are higher

Worth doing? From what I've been told, on my car it fits somewhere near the airbox

I've just got me a K&N panel filter as with an induction kit ST200's loose performance, the OEM airbox is the mutts danglies over anything else, just trying to ooze a bit more performance out of it now since I've decided not to get the 220 or Focus ST. Next thing is a new exhaust and a Bluefin :D

Won't increase power at all.

Oh well, I think I'll do my K&N, new Exhaust with De-CAT (only removing one of 3 CATS :o) and Bluefin and see how I get on after that at the rolling road in October I'm going to try to get to with the owners club.

I really wanna push 230-240bhp :D

Just to clear things up for you...

From the crankcase there is a ruber tube that goes into your airbox where the air from the crankcase is filtered back to the engine...

You won't notice a difference unless your breather pipe is blocked.
