Crash Bandicoot

Why has the crash series died? Legal reasons or just no desire in the market?

It's gone the way of other classic franchises - basically a large group of idiots bent on making half assed dross got their hands on it.

They then tried to pump money out of it, sales were poor as the games were a bit crap and that got blamed on the franchise rather than the bean counters and it got shelved.

I well miss this game. The only part of crash 1 I remembered being hard was the levels where you had to run backwards away from the big boulder. You basically had to memorise the track so you knew where to jump/move.
