Crash during memtest?

There were no errors, but this computer crashed during memtest. It's got 2GB OCZ DDR2 memory in it, Gigabyte P35 DS4, E4600 processor, 8800GT graphics card.

The PC is crashing during Bioshock and Crysis... but I thought that was the 8800GT, especially as it was giving a BSOD with NV_DISP.dll or something.

Not really sure what to make of this? I guess I should try with different RAM..?

Try different RAM. Check that the RAM is getting the manufacturer's recommended voltage in the BIOS. Try the modules in different DIMM slots.

Well I've just memtest'd each RAM stick seperately and they passed fine. I tested each stick in bank 1, then each stick in bank 3. I'm just doing another test with them in dual channel mode in both 1 and 3, which is how it was when it crashed earlier.

Another thing; I tried setting the voltage to +0.1v and putting the timings to 4-4-4-15 manually, but the computer crashed before it got in to windows

I'm doing the test with the side of the case off at the moment, to see if it's a heat issue. If it crashes again, I'll try it in bank 2 and 4. If it doesn't crash, I'll go to my house and grab another case fan from my computer to help with the airflow in this one.
