Is this film any good guys?

i have it on dvd and may watch it tonight. Its not the car crash one from ages ago, its the more recent one with rave reviews.

Just wanna know what to expect.

absolutely quality film, great acting by its all star cast and a great storyline, i wanted to watch it for so long after hearing all the reviews, and it certainly lived up to them.

Well my girlfriend had different things in mind to watching the dvd lol, but ill get a chance to watch it this week. Looking forward to watching it more now since ya all think its great.

Really? I find that there's quite a good correlation between IMDB ratings and my personal view of the film.

I recently got Crash too, along with lots of other films that I've not yet had time to watch.

Really? I find that there's quite a good correlation between IMDB ratings and my personal view of the film.

More often that not they're pretty close but sometimes I find films very highly rated that in my opinion were very dull.

I thought it was a great film, but didn't seem to confront racism at all head on, but rather a theme of people showing different faces/personalities to the world. I also thought it made an interesting point of showing that being racist doesn't make you a good or bad person, it's your actions that define you as a person, not your thoughts.

Personally I ddnt think it was as good as people said, and it doesn't deal with the issue as head on as I expected / hoped. Good nonetheless, and I am quite picky about films.
