Hi Guys

I'm looking at purchasing a copy of Crash as I've seen it a couple of times and thought it was a great film.

Anyway, I have found a £5 standard copy of the movie which seems a bargain, but a £13 directors cut edition which is extended.

Now I have not seen this version, but was wondering if any of you had and if it is worth the extra £8 for a few minutes of footage? How does it compare to the standard version?

Cheers

According to imdb the director's cut is 2 minutes longer.

Unless it's Sandra Bullock getting naked I can't imagine that 2 minutes of film not worthy of the cinema is worth £8 of anyone's money. Spend it on another film instead.

The 'standard' edition is a great film in it's own right so I would agree with Goatboy, put the extra towards another film.

Crash is one of those films that everyone should see at least once in their lives.
Amazing piece of cinematic work.
Pick up the standard edition - well worth £5 of anyone's money, hell it was worth the "over double" that amount I paid.

Agreed.

After watching I recommended it to a mate who told me his mrs had seen it and thought it was rubbish.

To this I concluded she was either...

A: Stupid.

B: Confusing it with 'the other' Crash.
