Everything was just fine up until today. My SSD was getting a bit full (not completely fully, about 8 GB left) and I tried to remove the witcher 3 which was around 40 GB so yeah, pretty huge. Then it just crashed when I did that and every time I booted it put me into windows repair screen. I tried resetting windows 10, I tried going back to an old build, I tried startup repair, really, everything that was available and nothing worked, just errors that put me back to the previous screens.

Now nothing works, I cannot access BIOS properly because for some reason the image is all ****ed up and I only see about 25% of the screen and I can't do anything in there. Now when i start up, after I see the BIOS startup image, it's all black and I can't do anything.
I double checked every single cable and the memory and made sure everything is plugged in properly.

My PC specs are:
MSI z97 gaming motherboard
INTEL i5 4690k
GTX 960 8 GB
8 GB hyperX ram
128 SSD OCZ agility 2,5
and a 500 GB hard drive.
btw im using windows 10.
help :(

EDIT: If I remove the SSD it says to put in the right boot advice and then press a key. If i put it in again and press a key nothing happens... Problem right now is tho that for whatever reason I can only see the top left of my bios screen and I don't know how to fix that.

EDIT: I tried reinstalling windows through booting with USB. It says "loading windows files" then it instantly just goes to the black screen again. I have no idea what to do now and I don't know what's causing it. It seems memory related but I'm not too sure that it is.

Sounds like you might have to clear CMOS

As above. Ensure you unplug PSU and leave battery out for 10-15 minutes

Alright to update... It worked! Sorta..... My BIOS is still ****ed for whatever reason but I can't do anything about that right now it seems. However what does work is installing windows (yay).. The bad part is that it does only detect my HDD and not my SSD, of course i want to install windows on my SSD i guess.. However I think I had this problem before when I first got this motherboard, tho the BIOS worked that time.. I will try all slots for my cable and if it still doesn't detect the SSD, should I install it on my HDD and hope to get my BIOS working again somehow?

Have you tried unplugging the SSD? Install windows on HDD and see how you go. If not you might need to RMA mobo

boot up with only the ssd installed do your windows install then turn off and fit the hdd

I've had a few windows 7 installs do strange things if a HDD is connected at the same time. I always make sure now that just the intended boot drive is connected when installing Windows, no matter what version it is.

Your SSD could also be on it's way out, which is why it's not being detected.

It doesn't explain the strange BIOS issues though. If you've had this issue before, it could be a board problem.

^ This. Bloody frustrating, sometimes.

Alright to update. I managed to install windows on my HDD. I tried booting without HDD but windows cannot for whatever reason detect my SSD. It's connected and BIOS says it's connected. I can do very little things in BIOS with the image like this but what I can do is restart and turn off the PC and I can also restore BIOS settings to default but that's about it as of right now.

So I managed to install my network drivers and I just tried to install graphics drivers and USB drivers... Which caused my screen to go completely black when I log on to windows. I can hear the windows sound when it logs in but it just says "no cabe connected" and the light turns from green to orange. What does work is starting the PC in safe mode but I'm not really sure what I can do there. I cannot change resolution or anything and NVIDIA GEFORCE EXPERIENCE doesn't work.

I managed to get BIOS back to how it's supposed to be twice but I was unable to use keyboard and mouse and it just hanged up when I did that. The image is ****ed up because of my screen resolution right? It seems that way.

What screen are you using? Is it a TV, as that can cause issues if the TV's screen res isn't the same as the UEFI BIOS.

BenQ G2222HDL.

I tried using my motherboards integrated graphics card and BIOS works but this is pretty demanding on my CPU. But aside from that what can I do to try to fix this now?

Could you try someone else's gpu or get them to test yours?

I don't think there's anything wrong with my GPU. I haven't even had it for a year yet and i use ESD prevention so that shouldn't be an issue. GPU shouldn't cause an SSD to be completely dysfunctional. But to be sure I can go get my old GPU that is over at my friend's place and see what happens.

I managed to remove my graphics card driver when I was safe mode. I can see stuff when I log into windows again. Thing is I can't type anything or I can't move my mouse, this probably has to do with the USB drivers I installed. They don't work in safe mode either........
