crashed kindle touch

OK kindle is stuck on a screen saver. Got it awhile back return. Worked sweet but now its crashed tried charging just amber light. Won't power.... tried removing batt and 20-30 sec bottom power and nothing screen sits on without batt

Any tips or advice tbh I would not mind a nook glow nowadays

A friend's keyboard kindle went into lock, so removed battery, replaced and left on charge for 30 min and all was fine. Sounds like you have done that so not much help I am afraid.
