San Diego core is actually one of the best at handling multiple sticks, though 4 is never preferable for an Athlon 64 rig. But anyway you say it works fine in other games so I can't see it being your memory.

Yeah thats what I had read also but was just stabbing at ideas because I nave no more left other than just not playing swat4 which is a gutter because I used to run a server,I realy like it that much.
Other than BF2 and now the new mod POE I dont realy like many of the others and COD2 has gone well down hill for what was a top game.
Oh well, thank you to all that offered sugestions and tips to try and sort this.
Today I took a step back and put my old 3200 back in and ghess what, the crashing has gone.
The temps arent realy any different so I can only ghess it is a messed up reader however now i face a real problem deciding which is the problem.
Is it a faulty cpu to the degree that it will only lock up in swat4 or is it a compatability issue between my athlon4000 and the board which only causes it to lock up in swat4.
I know both sound rediculus but I just cannot think what else it could be.
Please anyone.
