Crashes on high intensive games.

So my PC crashes on high intensive games, at the moment planetside 2 and battlefield 3.

PC in question.

So I checked the GPU and CPU for overheating and found out they were behaving normally. So what can be the cause of it?

the computer shuts down and can't be turned on by pushing the case on/off switch.
However by using the powersupply on off switch it can be switched on.

A hunch I feel its the PSU, upon the sudden shut down putting my hand near the area of the PSU, it feels warm. and I think maybe a burning smell, not sure. will try out these test now. Also confuse about the mem test.

Umm yes. Oh I didn't mention what programs I tested it with. I tested the graphics card using Furmark with precision x and the CPU using Prime95 and core temp. Everything seems ok.

Also this is a new PC, there isn't any dust.

I didn't really run furmark for quite long, only about 3 mins.
I followed your suggestion to run heaven and leaving it running, in about 8 mins it crashed.

(Crash as in complete shut off)

Yeah, told overclockers. They will repair it.

I tested the PC is tested on a table, not on the carpet; just a fyi.
