Having a few issues with lockups on a recent build:

GA-AB350M-GAMING 3 AMD B350
AMD Ryzen 3 1200
Team Group Dark Pro 8GB (2x4)

Windows all installed fine, updated all motherboard drivers to latest etc. but I'm getting a lot of random lockups, I had both DIMMS in the red slots on the board, I was getting crashes while downloading Windows 10 updates, didn't even get to the point of installing & restarting etc..

Removed 1 stick of RAM, everything ran fine for about 12 hours, I left it running youtube videos at 5pm yesterday, I came to check it this morning and it had frozen and the screen had jammed at 5am but coretemp which I had left open showed the highest temp it has reached was only 32c, so looking for any possible thoughts on what could the reason behind these failures?

Any thoughts?

run hci memtest or something along those lines? if i do a new build or refurb someones pc etc i'll always run a few stress tests like like hci memtest, intelburntest, furmark etc.

i think i remember some people having issues with using older chipset drivers and getting memory issues but if you've already updated then that might not be it.
