crashing continues in bf3

Im really hoping someone can help me out

Iv nearly given up on my computer

My computer specs are i5, 2 gtx palit 750, windows 32bit and 4gb ram


I thought I fixed it last night using this method

o to BF3 install Folder
Mine is at - (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3)

Run pbsvc.exe
Follow the options and "Uninstall" From the menu

Head over to
http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bf3.php [evenbalance.com]
(Punkbuster Website)

Right click and save as on the following files on the site
- For Players Filename: pbsec.htm
- PB Client v2.279 for Win32 Filename: wc002279.htm
- PB ClientA v1386 for Win32 Filename: wa001386.htm

Then save them to your punkbuster folder, in the folder "htm"
Mine is at (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\pb\htm)

Confirm overwrite of any files

Play BF3 and hopefully not crash :D

But of course I didnt think messing around in the nvidia control panel changing physx settings to cpu would make any difference but it messed up my game so i changed it back to auto select (recommended) but i never got back to what it was like after the punkbuster thing

So im thinking did that punkbuster thing really fix my problem or was I just lucky last night

The crashing is 2 parts

a few minutes into the game the picture would just freeze and I have ctrl, alt and delete and press this

iv tried some things

disabling sli, punk buster thing


Please please help me out here, what am I doing wrong
 
i had a similar issue woth modern warfare and it was because i didnthave anything plugged into my mic socket. sounds dumb but might help
