Crashing Due To Unknown Reason!

as others have stated it COULD be the Dimm slot you are using to test

Try ONE stick in the furthest Dimm slot from the CPU then test
If it errors try the next Dimm slot and so on and so forth

Also have you tried using the two mem sticks as they were Before you got the new ram and see if you have the same issue?

One last thing Sometimes windows will pick up a config change in hardware and need re activation,

Good luck and hope you get it sorted

******* hell! No more caps Ok! Jeeez! Right gonna give it a go now then, will start with removal of the batt and boot, followed by trying another dimm slot..

cheers for the help

Please fully star swearwords.

It's important to mention here, that according to the manufacturers website, the maximum DRAM voltage your motherboard can support is 1.5V. Your memory is 1.65V, and it may be struggling to supply all sticks of RAM with the 1.65V let alone 1.5.

Hi, I bought these exact same sticks at the begining of this month and has constantly failed on Linx test even at 9-9-9-24 timings @ 1333Mhz w 1.65v, have not run memtest yet as cant find a USB stick to boot from, gonna try this tonight, I have been struggling to get them stable for 3 days solid now on a Asus Crosshair IV formula, using my spare set of Kingston Value RAM I have no problems at all, i really think the sticks are bad so if they fail memtest tonight i will be processing an RMA request.

hope ocuk are good to me with regards to this as i never got to test them out till a few days ago.

well, ran memtest and produced errors when running @ 1600Mhz with both 8-8-8-24 and 9-9-9-24, will only pass when set to 9-9-9-24 @ 1333Mhz, I have sent an RMA request and been offered a replacment or refund, opted for replacment with a different set of sticks Corsair XMS 1600 C9's, but will give the OCZ's another chance if they cannot do this.

hope you can get your issues sorted AmzP88,
