Crashing In... Well, Everything

Hello,

Having some issues with my build and I'm really struggling to troubleshoot it.

The basic issue is that my PC will be stable for 3-4 hours regardless of the workload, then, after that it starts to crash at random.

For example FIFA will claim it's run out of memory, Firefox tabs will start to crash etc. and it will get progressively worse until the PC is restarted. Some games will just crash to desktop with zero error.

Specs:

Gigabyte Aorus Ultra Gaming x470
Ryzen 2600
Corsair 3000mhz 16GB RGB
Palit GameRock 1070 (Samsung Memory, not Micron)
Crucial P1 1TB NVME
Samsung 250gb 840 SSD
Antec 80+ Gold 750w

Temps are about 60 max for the CPU and 68 for the GPU.

So far I have:

Reinstalled Windows, all drivers are up to date etc.
Run Memtest for over an hour with no errors in all slots both dual and single channel.
Run OCCT GPU mem test for an hour with no issues.
Completely taken the PC apart and rebuilt/reseated everything.
Switched the GPU to the bottom slot with the same issues.
SSD health checks / S.M.A.R.T are all good.

I also ran a stability test provided by nVidia, this ran for 205 minutes before throwing up an error, however I was watching Netflix and using various other software which may have caused that.

I don't currently have access to another GPU/CPU/Mobo I can try.

Anything I can try would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies if this sounds basic, but are you sure you're not just running out of memory? The symptoms you describe are pretty much spot-on.

True, 4 hours isn't long to eat 16GB, but it's certainly possible, especially if you never close your browser tabs when gaming.

Have you cleaned the Case & CPU fans recently?

No, I took everything apart and reseated it but the fans weren't too bad. Temps are under 70 at full load on both the CPU and GPU.

It happens with as little as 6GB RAM usage, I'm at 6.9 right now and Cyberpunk just crashed with a peak usage of 12.4GB.

Edit: I just restarted and am now running 12 threads of Prime95 blend, at 98% memory usage and 100% CPU, sitting at 57c completely stable.

But if I were to try that in a few hours it would almost certainly crash almost immediately.

Try a single stick of memory. If it crashes, try the other stick.

Have you disabled your page file?

I've tested the memory in memtest as both a single stick and dual channel, in every slot.

I've also tried with no pagefile and moved it to my secondary SSD when having none at all caused issues in Photoshop.

PSU issue?

I had a 650w Aerocool Bronze which I've changed to an Antec Pro 750W 80+ Gold as it was due an upgrade anyway.

Same issues with both PSUs.

The Aerocool worked fine for 2.5 years with the same config and was only changed after the issues started.

Yeah, default was on the primary SSD and I changed it to rule that out as a cause. Both drives show in good health in SSD monitoring apps.
