Please help me. :(

I installed those new Xtreme G drivers on my 7600GT then I restarted and got a BSOD. Went into safe mode and realised that I hadn't removed my old ones. So I removed the old ones and restarted. Then it got past the windows loading screen.. But then nothing. I just get a continuous screen of black. When I try and go into safe mode it freezes when asking me whether I want to do a system restore. :(

No idea what's wrong here so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Naffa

Ok slight update. :o

I cleared the CMOS and now when I boot up normally i get a flash of the Windows logo and a flash of the blue screen... Then my PC restarts. When I try to boot into safe mode my PC just restarts before I see a Windows logo. :o

SOMEONE MUST BE ABLE TO HELP ME?!?!! :(

Did it and no luck. :( I've put the hard drive into my other PC and am copying the files onto my external hard drive (how long do you reckon 30GB will take on a Duron 1.3GHz? ). I'm pretty sure that the hard drive itself is at fault. I remember having exactly the same problem with my Deskstar so I borrowed this... *cough* Maxtor as a temporary replacement until I buy a Spinpoint or something.

I'll see if a reformat fixes it later..

Thanks for the post though semi. :)
