my system in sig keeps crashing and getting blue screens, im guessing its something to do with my ram or the motherboard, should i upgrade the bios as there was some known problems with this motherboard and ram compatabilities and so on.

so should i change to default bios settings n see what heppens? then update bios to a newer version if that doesnt work?

also can i flash the bios with a cd? or will i have to borrow my dads floppy drive?

I don't know much about the board but it's always best to update your BIOS before doing anything else drastic or costly. If the new BIOS causes its own unique problems then it's always possible to revert to the old BIOS flash.

Check and see if they off a windows based flash option. If not then I think you'll need the disk drive. Might be possible to use a bootable CD and put it on but I wouldnt risk it when playing with a BIOS flash.

psu i cant see why thats the problem its 450W, new, ill have a mess around and see what i can do.
