Gibbo.. it's a great price btw... but is it 5850 beating? Not trying to disrupt your thread, but you said here - unless I'm reading it wrong - that the 5850 is faster than the 6870: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=19887904&postcount=11

How loud is the cooler compared to reference (If you know) ? I was thinking a 470, but I don't want the noise.

From looking at that post I've put them as been on par, I would hazard from what I remember at launch a 6850 is slower than a 5850 and a 6870 is slightly faster.

Fact is though, this is considerably cheaper than our 5850, has as good if not better performance and cost less.

Are the coolers on the card the same as the picture?

Yes they are VTX cards with the improved cooler, which is quieter and better.
