Crazy ping to router when PS3 uses the internet?

Hi, Just got a new router the other day, everything seems to work ok except when the PS3 uses the internet all other wireless devices have 3k ping or time out.

The router model is TD-W8968

Any Ideas? :confused:

Speedtest? Pingtest? Please!

And run a trace route through CMD.

Plus, what BB service are you using?

Seems like Virgin to me. Virgin cable specifically.

It's an ADSL modem, so it won't be virgin cable

Try changing the wireless channel on the router

It may be his channel. I agree.

Download InSSIDer.

It will allow you to scan networks within your area.

Change to a less used/not used channel.

He should do ping tests hard-wired to the router.

It may be the game he is playing with ports.

There are many issues it can link itself to.

Ping to the router is fine wired, using cmd its either about 3k or timed out. I tried a few different channels but it hasn't improved. There is only 1 network on scan. The other ps3 causes no problems.
