Crazy sky box

Over the past few weeks my Sky box has been going a little nutty. Usually when I wake up its turned itself off and when I turn it on it says theres no sat signal. I unplug it, wait, plug it back in and its back. It seems to be doing this more frequently. Last night was very weird. It was glitching a lot like OnDigital used to and eventually died again. I unplugged it, waited, plugged it back in to find static. Green light was on, responded to commands and I could hear the audio but the picture was static. After retuning my TV it seems the Sky box had decided to change frequencies for some bizarre reason.

Any one had a similar occurance? I'm guessing its on its last legs.

I'd start rehersing the last right tbh, I had to replace mine after similar symptoms, in the end it just died :(

sounds like its cooked Pete, my amstrad did that, sky wanted £60 for the pleasure of giving me a crappy old black and silver refurb unit, much arguing and threats of business going elsewhere got me the same crappy box for free, lol
