hi, ive been running my xbox 360 with modded optical dongle(modded so i can use a coax cable) through my z-5500 logitechs for nearly a year now without any probs. console is a elite i bought last year.
anyway just turned it on 20 mins after i switched it off and the menu sounds have gone(i know about the option to disable menu sounds thats enabled).
so i started forza 3 and you know the turn ten music at the beginning, well that comes through fine, and when it advises you to press a theres some sounds of cars racing, well thats there too. but when i press a theres no menu music no nothing, audio options are as they should be in game. my logitech pod shows coax an digital data on screen.
ok here is the weird part, im connected via hdmi and when i unmute my tv sound presto the menu sounds come on. so its using my hdmi for all sound but using my logitech for only some sounds....wtf help
