Hi, I've today been offered a position within a company I've long wanted to work for, Subject to a CRB check.. :o

Does anyone know if cautions show on standard CRB Checks? Or is it just Enhanced CRB checks that cautions show?

From a bit of Googling it seems a caution isnt a conviction so it only shows on enhanced crb checks, Or on government vetting things for high security jobs.

The job is basically handling expensive computer components (lots of them) so I suppose they'll mainly be looking for anything theft related?

I believe it takes 5 years before they are spent.

Of course do your own research. Call CRB checkline if you want to be 100% sure.

Regardless, dont let this stop you going for the Job!!!! And perhaps you should just declair if asked...

I'll think about giving them a call mate cheers.

I was asked in the interview if a crb check would come back fine and I said yes it would, Did I lie :confused: (I thought it only showed convictions at the time)
