Has anyone here got personal experience of the Creality Hi? I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy a 3d printer and I can't decide between the A1 or Hi. I know the A1 has got glowing reviews but the larger build volume and better CFS of the Hi are making it appeal to me a bit more.

Thanks
Scott

Elegoo Centarui Carbon.

For normal bed sizes (256mm3), nothing below else 500 quid compares.

Multi material will be out for it by 3rd quarter.

I've looked at it there and it does look good but very long delivery times and support issues are putting me off a little.

Elegoo have amazing support - better than Bambu imho and definitely better than Creality!

But yeah, if you didn't jump on the pre-order you'll be waiting a little while. Having said that, my delivery was supposed to be end of June but I got it beginning of May, so they do seem to be doing well on production.

How are you finding your Carbon now?

I had a pre order for the last month as I wanted a second printer but cancelled it last night as it's currently too close in price to the P1S and looks like a nightmare to get any spares for because of long lead times.

It's great - 300 hrs on it, not a single print failure. Prints exotics like ASA and PA-CF great.

For spares, I ordered the build plate pack, a 0.8mm and spare 0.4mm hot end which arrived a few weeks ago. Nozzles/hot ends are avail on Amazon and Aliexpress now. I've even seen spare bed leveling sensors.
