Anyone else Pre-Ordered the K2 Plus?

Found here: - https://www.crealityofficial.co.uk/products/creality-k2-plus-3d-printer

I managed to bag one of the cheaper pre-orders during their event. Paid just under 1k for the Printer and the AMS system.

I'm really excited for its arrival, looks like a great printer.

My prints that I sell are over 330mm tall. Thus a Bambu x1c would NEVER be big enough, and Bambu has no plans it seems to make a bigger printer. 256 * 256 is a terribly small print volume, such a shame.
The K2 Plus has a 350 * 350 print bed with a 350mm print height. Perfect for my needs.

Unfortunately, they sent me an e-mail, advising that shipping issues to the UK have caused a delay. Mine will ship within November.
I fully expect, I'd only see it in the new year to be honest. However, I do not mind the delay too much.

Has anyone else bagged a pre-order?

Creality is not a company I would preorder from personally, there always seems to be too many issues on release. Like the k1's extruder, probably the most important aspect of a printer.

But fingers crossed they come good this time, would be nice to give bambu a kick up the arse for a larger print volume.
I understand your point here.

However, If it turns out to be a dud, I'll just get my money back from my credit card xD

I'm hoping they have learnt some vital lessons from the previous printers, after all, they seem to reuse parts a lot.

They delayed the delivery of the Pre-Orders. So not arrived yet.

They say, should arrive Mid December, but getting anything more specific is difficult.

My k2 plus arrived.

It's a massive leap.

The creality cloud has also come along way.

I'm able to find a model, such as a duck. Slice it on the app. Send it to printer on the app. And check it's progress with the built in camera. All from 5 miles away.

The quality needs some work. But that will be just some new profile tweaks.

Very very impressed with it

Guessing your usage is waaay different to mine lol
I dunno

Depends what you do.

My prints exceed 300mm bed sizes frequently. And even if under 250mm the heights go up to 320. So the likes of a Bambu would never work.

So this printer is a game changer for my needs.

My previous printer for big prints was a 400x400x400 bed slinger. But it's max speed was 30mms.

One of my prints I sell used to take 2.5 days, I did one yesterday in under 9 hours!
It's an absolutely massive improvement and will allow me to increase my weekly throughput.
Was forced to limit my sales of the large prints to 2 per week. Now I can get two done in 24hours. Especially considering I can start a print from home, when the printer is in my office 3+ miles away.

I should have it paid off in 3 months. And may buy a second.

Loving mine had it past few weeks, got in at the best 45% discount tier with all the goodies.

Before delivery though I was pretty nervous as people were getting them with shattered glass and a lot seemed to get with feet smashed off as it weighs a ton about 50kg.

Want another CFS now they are back in stock.
How are you finding the ghosting / ringing?

I've found that the surfaces of my prints are never that clean.
Not layer inconsistency issues really.. just an orange peal effect of sorts.

How are you guys getting on with the K2 then?

I've got one on order as my first ever 3d Printer :P

But have loads of things I want to try printing.

Looking forward to receiving it :)
I've found my bed was 1mm out.

To rectify I've used a macro to do the old fashioned way of paper and move bed leveling. Then used 2 a4 pages under middle of the bed to reduce the dip.

Now the mesh is only 0.2mm variance.
