Just got my ticket, anyone from here going?

Can't wait. Gutted about missing Global Gathering this time as it was awesome last year, so going to have to make up for that this weekend! :D

I'll be there, whats best time to get there?
In the past I've got there about 7-ish and been fine. Going to try and get there a bit earlier this year but I'm wary of problems, like them not opening on time and huge queue's, I believe this was a big problem in 2005? I missed it all though turning up at 7pm.

yup, it is pretty good
Here's hoping the weather forecast is correct and it is dry!
got soaked last year in the last hour.

Went ages and ages ago when it was at the old liverpool airport site. Started to get full of scallies in lacoste trakkies and rockport boots with their socks tucked into the trakky bottoms so stopped going.

Pity really as it's usually a cracking lineup.

not long now, just bought all my essentials, few people on forums are posting the usual 'THE SNIFFER DOGS WILL GET YOU' messages but looking at the info it looks like there implementing metal detectors at the gates and a million sniffer dogs. think ill be swapping between the chibuku and myspace futurism tent, but will make a few trips to see sinden and 1+1 in others.

Not going this year. Last year was ridiculous. Loads of little teenagers running about starting fights and throwing bottles. Idiots throwing bottles as high as they can and letting them come crashing back down on some innocent person's head in the crowd.

Also the music seemed to take a turn for the worse last year. Not sure if I'm just losing my touch though :(

Well apparently they've got a lot more police about this time along with spotter teams looking for groups of young scallies and refusing them entry, so fingers crossed.

There's no way I'm letting little scumbags like that stop me going anywhere! :)

to be honest they wouldnt of stopped me either if i could have afforded it this year :p just making up excuses to help make myself feel better while mates are at creamfields or leeds :(

Well I've finally recovered from what was a great night! :)

Didn't see any trouble what so ever and no signs of gangs of scallies anywhere, so I think their improved security worked very well.

Only minor gripe is the volume of the music but this seems to affect a lot of festivals these days. They made a lot about having the highly rated Funktion One (sp?) sound system and then never really made full use of it!

A bit of a lack of big name DJ's showed aswell but didn't spoil it really. Good night

im still abit rough, bit dissappointed about the justice and 2manydj's sets,.
justice's own equipment didn't work so they just played a 45min set on some normal decks, nothing special.
the tent was too rammed for 2manydj's and they ended up with around 100people in and around the decks which led to it if being stopped by some fat guy with an angry face and hi-vis vest, they then started playing again and was tooooooo quiet.
mstrkrft, annie mac, one+one, swedish mafia house (axwell, ingrosso, angello) were the highlights for me.
will be going again but won't be attack the k was much as i thought i was going to need a trip to the happy tent for a lie down.
