Im planning on building my son a gaming pc, he's a ps4 player but would like to start pc gaming, i've never built a gaming pc so unsure what to buy, so i'm looking for some help/advice. My budget is £1200 or less if possible and that's to include Monitor, mouse and keyboard.

If i was to get the i5 6600k would i be better off getting a motherboard that auto clocks?

Im looking at red as my son wanted a red and black colour scheme.
