Create the best Hi fi you can for £400

I haven't a clue what to choose, I also would prefer if all parts were of the same brand.

The one thing I really hate about my pc is the different brand names on all my peripherals lol

Benq for the monitor

Microsoft for the keyboard

Logitech for the mouse etc....

Ok spent £399

Got the Cambridge audio Azur 340A, 340C and 340T along with an Eltax tape deck. Also some Gale speakers(can't remember the model right now)

So the main problem i'm having now is, How do I connect the speaker cable to the amp?

On the back of the amp you unscrew a knob which reveals the hole in which you insert the cable but once the cable is in you can't screw the knob back in.

On the speakers it's much simpler as you have a side hole in the knob to insert the cable.

Help please

It says Gale electronics CXL106 on the cable.

Do you put the wire directly in the hole then screw or place the wire over the the hole and screw?

Just noticed I don't have an equalizer, Can I buy one seprately or is it part of the amp?

These are my starter speakers, I got them free So I wasn't complaining

If I had paid full whack the total would have been £516 lol, For some reason the guy said I could have the lot for £400 (including cables)

The 540A is £50 cheaper than mine grrr!!! could have had a better model lol.
