Hell!! \m/
Hey guys, I waana get back into working out and training and I need to mainly stick to gaining weight and I've been getting shedloads of food and trying to stuff my face most of the day. :) Obviously proper food but I was thinking, is Creatine (correct spelling, lulz) worth adding?

BTW I've injured my back so I need to stick to upper body for now and legs.

Peace out men. :D

Probaly not no.

If you're just getting back into it and are injured your training isn't going to be optimal at the moment or probaly heavy enough to see the benefits creatine *can* offer. You'll get the water retention for the duration and probaly become dismayed.

Save your cash or spend it on something else if you're set on supplementing your diet.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but most of bulk from creatine is water retention. The only benefit you will really have is extra power for lifting more reps so you can train harder. It's better to just drink coffee before a workout tbh or "load up" on carbohydrates.

Most of the additional size can be from the water, but if you are trainig hard you will gain lean mass also.
The trick is to not be fooled into thinking that all the bulk is lean mass then getting upset when it goes down

I agree but if you're unable to train hard due to injury you might well not see any gains, except temporary water ones.

Probaly be better to supplement something against catabolism or to help speed up PS or just save your wonga and creatine until your injury has subsided.

Oh I agree, I was just replying to that specific post rather than in the context of this thread :)
